Personality:

Haru is the ultimate overachiever. Within the span of her canon personality she often dedicated so much effort to her plans she sabotaged herself on accident. Like the time she was trying to scare kids and get Tsuna to save them, she actually got arrested because she had a knife as part of her monster costume.

As a young girl Haru used costumes for her schemes and as escapes from her reality as a slightly nerdy, too smart for her own good, mother-less middle schooler. They were a fantastic hobby she could dedicate the intensity of her attention to. As an adult, she continues to use costumes, no longer as escapes, but as effective and efficient tools to protect herself. In contrast, her somewhat plain appearance by the standards of Western beauty serves as another tool for her, one that hurts her pride as a woman sometimes, but comes in useful when she avoids identification, or can manage to seem harmless because of it. In effect, she has learned to use her own body as a costume as an adult.

Haru displays in alternate proportions absolutely no common sense, but also an acute awareness of things in the world. She’s often dumbfounded by the reasons why someone would insult another person, or be nasty to them in general from a petty standpoint. It isn’t within her grasp to understand the concept of insults without it being a maneuver to acquire information or more power in a business situation. Based on her childhood leaps of logic about predators and other criminals in Namimori, Haru is often one to plan for the worst case scenario and be relieved when the best case or a middling scenario actually occurs.

She is a very cheerful and supportive person. Haru takes strength in the necessity of her position within the Family, and her ability to make sure everyone has the funds and goods they need to complete their jobs, plus have a little fun besides. Her dedication to her family and their needs is what keeps her going while her personal life and desires for a husband and family of her own stall out and remain unmoving, in part because of how much time and energy she spends on the Family instead.

Rockstar Persona: Haru had a slow climb to internet and cult fame through her costuming and musical covers on the internet, which rocketed when she was able to join a band and get on with an actual record company.

She’s most recognizable by her enthusiasm for everything she does. She wears bizarre costumes because she feels like it or because fans have requested those in particular. She’s nosy and always going to head right for the spectacle that’s going on, but this curiosity gets her in trouble. Often it leaves her caught in the wrong place at the wrong time leaving behind wild speculations that she’s been fought over or unfaithful to people who haven’t even been her lovers.

Despite no confirmation of ever having dated anyone let alone anyone else in the entertainment industry, somehow it looks like Haru’s the kind of young woman who is enthusiastic about every portion of life. This reputation weighs on her because she’s a romantic who truly wants to build a relationship with someone.

Ideal CR: Haru is an incredibly flexible type of character! She would work well as a sister type younger or older, as a friend, or dealing with grumps. She has a lot of determination stubbornness and cheer to spread.
